If there was any doubt about the devious ways of the much heralded UK entrepreneurs, they are being well and truly hammered.

Met Philip Green and his wife once, at work. Absolute cunts, the pair of them.

I'm not sure what the fuck this has got to do with Brexiteers. This has all been going on under the vague gaze of both Labour and Conservative governments as well as EU labour legislation. I'm not sure that being out of the EU could make it any worse.

Both Green and Ashley are total cunts, who don't give a shit about their employees, and treat them appallingly, particularly Ashley.

As for this Chappell and his gang, they are not businessmen, just crooks. Chappell was introduced to Green by a convicted fraudster by the name of Paul Sutton, who I've known of for years. He's been defrauding and ripping off companies and private individuals for most of his life.

Current CEO of my employer held a similar job under Phil at BHS. I worked at Arcadia so have had a few dealings with mr green. He's out dated now as a retailer, aside from TS/TM the group doesn't make any money. The excellent designers at topshop are the only thing keeping that brand working, not Phillip.

Phillip green buys a company with a surplus in the pension fund. The company doesn't make a profit but he manages to take £400-500 million out plus he cherry picks the best properties then he sells the company for £1 but the company's pension fund is now 100's of millions of pounds offside. And we give this greedy fat cunt a knighthood even though he was paying all his money offshore and paying no tax. And they wonder why no one trusts them

Was the UK not in the EU when all this took place then? (Not that it has anything at all to to with the referendum, but nice try - have a lollipop.)

I agree, this goes beyond political allegiances - but the way these people operate is a disgrace. This isn't being a sharp operator, this is operating with no humility or decency, and having no problem whatsoever with burdening the taxpayer with the repercussions.

If this, and yesterday's Sports Direct disgrace, is what the Brexiters consider to be free market enterprise, they can poke it up their arses.

They live in Monaco but Taveta investments, the fund which owns most of their investments, is indeed Jersey registered.

The behaviour involved here has been scandalous for years. Just shows wrong-headed those in power have been, on all sides of the spectrum, that this sort of shit is tolerated.

The simple fact that he works Monday to Friday in London but is allowed to be domiciled in Monaco for tax purposes is a disgrace, if still true. I believe he managed to convince the Revenue that the travel time on Mondays and Fridays meant he wasn't really based in London at all. I don't really go in for bashing the rich, and he clearly has a talent, but this man is a notorious and epic cunt.

Re: BHS Select Committee
Mrs Green owns most or all of Arcadia where Phil was siphoning off all the assets to her tax free as dividends in Jersey I think.
Would be amusing if his head goes in the noose as it should & she decides .... you know what I'm not that keen on being married to the (ex SIr) Phil any more so won't be sending any cash back to keep him out of jail.

This Chappell was just the dupe he handed the keys to while saying take out what you can as it goes under. Oh and don't look in the pension fund cos I have cleaned that out.
